Last season we ‘celebrated the sun’ with Karen Walker eyewear. This season we’re moving on from the vampire phenomenon into the world of Sun Gods.

The ‘Sun Gods’ 2010 campaign returns to the fashion infected New York city casting superb talent, and working, once again, with top NY based photographer Derek Kettela behind the lens. Derek captured the power, glory, vitality and the positive energy of the Sun to create the illuminated golden imagery.

Stocked in major international department stores and influential fashion boutiques in over 15 countries and still receiving continued support and success from reputable retailer’s like Barneys in the US and Liberty in London, the brand continues to grow both locally and internationally with new stockists opening recently in Russia and the Middle East.

COMING SOON / KSUBI EYEWEAR - "BOOK CLUB"



Ksubi launched its first eyewear collections in 2004. Since then the eyewear has become the main feature of their brand receiving extensive press coverage and acclaim for innovative design. Ksubi has exclusively designed specialty concept frames for Beyonce & Kylie Minogue for their film clips and have an avid following from celebrities such as Kate Moss, Gwen Stefani, Liv Tyler, Chloe Sevigny, Jude Law, Editor in Chief at French Vogue Carine Roitfeld & Scarlet Johansson amongst others.

ksubi eyewear has also served as a vehicle for collaborative projects including Kanye West, a conceptual press range with UK designer, Richard Nicoll launching in 2007 at his London Fashion Week catwalk show, and more recently with Canadian DJ/Producer TIGA for the release of ‘ksubi for TIGA’.

The current eyewear range is produced using original frame hand shaping technique as well as the highest quality components, lenses and acetates. New developments will include a selection of frames that could house sunglass or optical lenses as well as the development of unique acetate patterns.

Inspired by an eclectic mix of pop comic, team pump and vintage, the Ksbui boys haven’t let their fans down with a simplified and modernized range of 13 unisex frames. Each frame has been left “virtually unpolished” to keep them as raw as possible and highlight the Ksubi’s own acetate developments which include unique digital printed leopard design & layered colour acetates with laser cuts in colours such as ksubi leopard print, leopard tortoiseshell, charcoal, navy, ivory frosts and fuchsia.

ksubi sunglasses are currently available in ksubi flagship stores; Sydney, Melbourne & New York City as well as over 300 stockists worldwide. We are proudly launching it in Scandinavia Feb '10!

This is something unique. Born in the mind of the artist and brought to life in the Colaboratory. The Colab range of eyewear brings a selection of individual designers and artists together. Each artist creates a range whereby their design aesthetic is transposed into a collective, accessible to their followers.

Colab facilitates the artists own design into production. There is no constraint, no rules to follow, no target market to appease. We leave the design to the designers and then turn their vision into something tangible.

Each season we look to collaborate with a selection of guest professors in our Colabratory. Seasonally, Colab will invite new individuals and groups to create a range that mirrors their own personal artistic mentality into eyewear.

JAZZ, BLUES and SOUL - American sounds born of strength and struggle, joy and pain, love and sex. This is where Friend or Foe  is coming from. We take the iconic imagery of the music, the striking art of the albums, and we bring it back, we write it large. We wear it proud. The music’s authenticity, you can almost hear it in our clothing – the crackle of the LP on the turntable, the soul-sighs and the heart-screams, angry horns, the crying woods. These artists helped build our culture. Much respect.
